Before you order
Do the mahjong mat and tile set come together?
Mats and tile sets are sold separately unless the listing expressly describes a bundle. Some photographs show coordinating pieces, racks or other styling props. Check the included-items section and your selected options before ordering.
Where do you ship?
We currently deliver within the United States, and all orders are dispatched from U.S. warehouses. Standard shipping is free with no minimum order. Enter your complete address at checkout to confirm availability for your selected products.
How long will my order take?
Made-to-order mahjong mats: 3–5 business days in production, followed by 3–5 business days standard shipping. Estimated total: 6–10 business days.
Made-to-order American Mahjong tiles: 7–9 business days in production, followed by 10–15 business days shipping. Estimated total: 17–24 business days.
Tiles specifically marked Ready to Ship: 1–2 business days order processing, followed by 3–5 business days shipping. Estimated total: 4–7 business days.
All orders ship from U.S. warehouses. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Shipping starts after production or order processing. Estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates; holidays, remote addresses or carrier delays may add time. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How do I find coordinating designs?
Browse by theme or color, or look for a matching design on the product page. Garden Birds, Crane Garden, Koi Lotus and Strawberry Grove offer coordinating mats and tile sets where available. Select each item and its options separately; a shared theme does not mean every item is an exact pattern match.
Will the colors look exactly like the photographs?
Screen settings, lighting and printed materials can affect appearance. Some images are illustrative mockups. Minor production variations can occur; please contact us if your item has a significant print problem or differs materially from the design ordered.
Mahjong mats
What are your mahjong mats made of?
Our mats have a smooth polyester playing surface and a black, non-slip rubber backing. The flexible surface helps tiles move smoothly, softens tile noise and helps protect your tabletop. The artwork is printed on one side using sublimation.
What sizes and thicknesses can I choose?
Our current mats offer square sizes of 20.9″ × 20.9″, 26″ × 26″, 31.5″ × 31.5″ and 33″ × 33″, with 2 mm or 3 mm thickness options where listed. Measure your usable tabletop and allow room for racks and your preferred tile layout. Confirm the exact variant on the product page.
What is included with a mat?
Each mat order includes one roll-up mahjong mat, one black storage bag and one user manual. Tiles, racks, dice and reference cards are not included unless expressly listed.
Where are the mats made, and how do I care for them?
Our current mats are made and dispatched in the USA. They arrive rolled; unroll and lay the mat flat for a few minutes before play. Wipe gently with a damp cloth, do not machine wash, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Store rolled in the included bag.
American Mahjong tile sets
How many tiles are in each set?
Most current designs contain 160 tiles; Songbirds contains 166. The exact tile inventory, playing-face designs and accessories are listed on each product page. Check that the selected set suits the rules you play. A scoring card or racks are included only when expressly listed.
What are the tiles made of?
Our current tile sets use layered acrylic with printed artwork on the backs. Dimensions, layer colors and playing-face designs vary by set. Refer to the measurements and photographs of the exact product you choose.
What is the difference between Bag Set and Box Set?
Choose one storage option before ordering. A Bag Set includes a storage bag; a Box Set includes the case shown in its listing. Your selected option includes one storage organizer, two dice and a user manual with the tile set. Both storage options are included only if expressly stated.
How should I care for my tiles?
Wipe gently with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately with a soft towel. Avoid soaking and make sure tiles are dry before returning them to their bag or case. Follow any care instructions supplied with your set.
Shipping & tracking
Will a mat and tile set arrive together?
They may arrive separately. All orders ship from U.S. warehouses, but each product follows its own processing or production schedule. Ready-to-ship tiles may be dispatched before made-to-order items. Ordering together does not shorten either estimate. We will email tracking information for each shipment.
Will I pay customs duties or import fees?
Orders are dispatched from U.S. warehouses, and customers are not asked to pay customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees on delivery. Any applicable sales taxes are displayed at checkout. If a carrier requests an unexpected delivery payment, contact admin@roamorystudio.com before paying so we can help.
How do I track an order or report a late parcel?
Use the link in each dispatch email or visit Track Your Order. Made-to-order items complete production before dispatch; ready-to-ship items complete order processing. Carrier tracking begins after dispatch and may take time to show its first scan. Separate parcels have separate tracking links. If a parcel is late, stops updating or is marked delivered but cannot be found, email us with your order number so we can investigate.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and requested change. We will check whether production or dispatch has started. A change or cancellation is confirmed only when we send confirmation and may not be possible once production begins. Applicable cancellation rights remain unaffected.
Returns & customer support
What should I do if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or incomplete?
Email admin@roamorystudio.com promptly, within 14 calendar days of delivery, with your order number, a description and clear photos. For tiles, identify the affected faces and quantities. Keep the item and relevant packaging while we review the issue and explain the appropriate replacement, refund or return instructions. See our Returns & Refunds Policy; the reporting request does not limit mandatory legal rights.
Can I return an item if the color isn’t what I expected?
Yes. We accept returns if the color isn’t right for you. You may open the package to inspect your item, but it must remain unused, clean, and undamaged.
Please repack everything securely as originally received, including all accessories and original packaging. Mats should be rolled carefully for return shipping.
Contact us before sending anything back so we can provide return instructions.
Can I return an item because I changed my mind?
Color-preference returns are accepted under the conditions above; please contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Other change-of-mind returns or exchanges for an unwanted design or an incorrectly selected size, thickness or storage option are not accepted, except where applicable law provides a right to return. Review the full policy before ordering. Earlier orders retain the terms offered at purchase.
